अथाऽप्रकाशग्रहफलाध्यायः॥२५॥
रव्यादिसप्तखेटानां प्रोक्तं भावफलं मया।
अप्रकाशग्रहाणां च फलानि कथयाम्यहम्‌॥ १॥

शूरो विमलनेत्रांशः सुस्तब्धो निर्घृणः खलः।
मूर्तिस्थे धूमसंज्ञे च गाढरोषो नरः सदा॥ २॥

रोगी धनी तु हीनाङ्गो राज्यापहृतमानसः।
धूमे द्वितीये संप्राप्ते मन्दप्रज्ञो नपुंसकः॥ ३॥

मतिमान्‌ शौर्यसम्पन्न इष्टचितः प्रियंवदः।
धूमे सहजभावस्थे जनाढ्‌यो धनवान्‌ भवेत्‌॥ ४॥

कलत्राङ्गपरित्यक्तो नित्यं मनसि दुःखितः।
धूमे चतुर्थे सम्प्राप्ते सर्वशास्त्रार्थचिन्तकः॥ ५॥

स्वल्पापत्यो धनैर्हीनो धूमे पञ्चमसंस्थिते।
गुरुत सर्वभक्षं च सुहृन्मन्त्रविवर्जितः॥ ६॥

बलवाञ्छत्रुवधको धूमे च रिपुभावगे।
बहुतेजोयुतः ख्यातः सदा रोगविवर्जितः॥ ७॥

निर्धनः सततं कामी परदारेषु कोविदः।
धूमे सप्तमगे जातो निस्तेजाः सर्वदा भवेत्‌॥ ८॥

विक्रमेण परित्यक्तः सोत्साहो सत्यसङ्गरः।
अप्रियो निष्ठुरः स्वार्थी धूमे मृत्युगते सति॥ ९॥

सुतसौभाग्यसम्पन्नो धनी मानी दयान्वितः।
धर्मस्थाने स्थिते धूमे धर्मवान्‌ बन्धुवत्सलः॥ १०॥

सुतसौभाग्यसंयुक्तः सन्तोषी मतिमान्‌ सुखी।
कर्मस्थे मानवो नित्यं धूमे सत्यपदस्थितः॥ ११॥

धनधान्यहिरण्याढ्यो रूपवांश्च कलान्वितः।
धूमे लाभगते चैव विनीतो गीतकोविदः॥ १२॥

पतितः पापकर्मा च धूमे द्वादशसङ्गते।
परदारेषु संसक्तो व्यसनी निर्घृणः शठः॥ १३॥

लग्ने पाते च सम्प्राप्ते जातको दुःखीपीडितः।
क्रूरो घातकरो मूर्खो द्वेषी बन्धुजनस्य च॥ १४॥

जिह्मोऽतिपित्तवान्‌ भोगी धनस्थे पातसंज्ञके।
निर्घृणश्चाऽकृतज्ञश्च दुष्टात्मा पापकृत्तथा॥ १५॥

स्थिरप्रज्ञो रणी दाता धनाढ्‌यो राजवल्लभः।
सम्प्राप्ते सहजे पाते सेनाधीशो भवेन्नरः॥ १६॥

बन्धव्याधिसमायुक्तः सुतसौभाग्यवर्जितः।
चतुर्थगो यदा पातस्तदा स्यान्मनुजश्च सः॥ १७॥

दरिद्रो रूपसंयुक्तः पाते पञ्चमगे सति।
कफपित्तानिलैर्युक्तो निष्ठुरो निरपत्रपः॥ १८॥

शत्रुहन्ता सुपुष्टश्च सर्वास्त्राणां च चालकः।
कलासु निपुणः शान्तः पाते शत्रुगते सति॥ १९॥

धनदारसुतैस्त्यक्तः स्त्रीजितो दुःखसंयुतः।
पाते कलत्रगे कामी निर्लज्जः परसौहृदः॥ २०॥

विकलाक्षो विरूपश्च दुर्भगो द्विजनिन्दकः।
मृत्युस्थाने स्थिते पाते रक्तपीडापरिप्लुतः॥ २१॥

बहुव्यापारको नित्यं बहुमित्रो बहुश्रुतः।
धर्मभे पातखेटे च स्त्रीप्रियश्च प्रियंवदः॥ २२॥

सश्रीको धर्मकृछान्तो धर्मकार्येषु कोविदः।
कर्मस्थे पातसंज्ञे हि महाप्राज्ञो विचक्षणः॥ २३॥

प्रभूतधनवान्‌ मानी सत्यवादी दृढव्रतः।
अश्वढ्यो गीतसंसक्तः पाते लाभगते सति॥ २४॥

कोपी च बहुकर्माढयो व्यंगो धर्मस्य दूषकः।
व्ययस्थाने गते पाते विद्वेषी निजबन्धुषु॥ २५॥

विद्वान्‌ सत्यरतः शान्तो धनवान्‌ पुत्रवाञ्छुचिः।
परिधो तनुगे दाता जायते गुरुवत्सलः॥ २६॥

ईश्वरो रूपवान्‌ भोगी सुखी धर्मपरायणः।
धनस्थे परिधौ जातः प्रभुर्भवति मानवः॥ २७॥

स्त्रीवल्लभः सुरूपांगो देवस्वजनसंगतः।
तृतीये परिधौ भृत्यो गुरुभक्तिसमन्वितः॥ २८॥

परिधौ सुखभावस्थे विस्मितं त्वरिमंगलम्‌।
अक्रूरं त्वथ सम्पूर्णं कुरुते गीतकोविदम्‌॥ २९॥

लक्ष्मीवान्‌ शीलवान्‌ कान्तः प्रियवान्‌ धर्मवत्सलः।
पञ्चमे परिधौ जातः स्त्रीणां भवति वल्लभः॥ ३०॥

व्यक्तोऽर्थपुत्रवान्‌ भोगी सर्वसत्त्वहिते रतः।
परिधौ रिपुभावस्थे शत्रुहा जायते नरः॥ ३१॥

स्वल्पापत्यः सुखैर्हीनो मन्दप्रज्ञः सुनिष्ठुरः।
परिधौ द्यूनभावस्थे स्त्रीणां व्याधिश्च जायते॥ ३२॥

अध्यात्मचिन्तकः शान्तो दृढकायो दृढव्रतः।
धर्मवांश्च ससत्त्वश्च परिधौ रन्ध्रसंस्थिते॥ ३३॥

पुत्रान्वितः सुखी कान्तो धनाढयो लौल्यवर्जितः।
परिधौ धर्मगे मानी स्वल्पसन्तुष्टमानसः॥ ३४॥

कलाभिज्ञस्तथा भोगी दृढकायो ह्यमत्सरः।
परिधौ दशमे प्राप्ते सर्वशास्त्रार्थपारगः॥ ३५॥

स्त्रीभोगी गुणवांश्चैव मतिमान्‌ स्वजनप्रियः।
लाभगे परिधौ जातो मन्दाग्निरूपपद्यते॥ ३६॥

व्ययस्ते परिधौ जातो व्ययकृत्‌ मानवः सदा।
दुःखभाग्‌ दुष्टबुद्धिश्च गुरुनिन्दापरायणः॥ ३७॥

धनधान्यहिरण्याढ्यः कृतज्ञः सम्मतः सताम्‌।
सर्वदोषपरित्यक्तश्चापे तनुगते नरः॥ ३८॥

प्रियंवदः प्र्गल्भाढ्यो विनीतो विद्ययाऽन्वितः।
धनस्थे चापखेटे च रूपवान्‌ धर्मतत्परः॥ ३९॥

कृपणोऽतिकलाभिज्ञश्चौर्यकर्मरतः सदा।
सहजे धनुषि प्राप्ते हीनाङ्गो गतसौहृदः॥ ४०॥

सुखी गोधनधान्याद्यै राजसन्मानपूजितः।
कार्मुके सुखसंस्थे तु नीरोगो तनु जायते॥ ४१॥

रुचिमान्‌ दीर्घदर्शो च देवभक्तः प्रियंवदः।
चापे पञ्चमगे जातो विवृद्धः सर्वकर्मसु॥ ४२॥

शत्रुहन्ताऽतिधर्तश्च सुखी प्रीतिरुचिः शुचिः।
षष्ठस्थानगते चापे सर्वकर्मसमृद्धिभाक्‌॥ ४३॥

ईश्वरो गुणसम्पूर्णः शास्त्रबिद्धार्भिकः प्रियः।
चापे सप्तमभावस्थे भवतीति न संशयः॥ ४४॥

परकर्मरतः क्रूरः परदारपरायणः।
अष्टमस्थानगते चापे जायते विकलांगकः॥ ४५॥

तपस्वी व्रतचर्यासु निरतो विद्ययाऽधिकः।
धर्मस्थे जायते चापे मानवो लोकविश्रुतः॥ ४६॥

बहुपुत्रधनैश्वर्यो गोमहिष्यादिमान्‌ भवेत्‌।
कर्मभे चापसंयुक्ते जायते लोकविश्रुतः॥ ४७॥

लाभगे चपखेटे च लाभयुक्तो भवेन्नरः।
निरोगो दृढकोपाग्निर्मन्त्रस्त्रीपरमास्त्रवित्‌॥ ४८॥

खलोऽतिमानी दुर्बुद्धिर्निर्लज्जो व्ययसंस्थिते।
चापे परस्त्रीसंयुक्तो जायते निर्धनः सदा॥ ४९॥

कुशलः सर्वविद्यासु सुखी वाङ्‌निपुनः प्रियः।
तनौ शिखिनि सञ्जातः सर्वकामान्वितो भवेत्‌॥ ५०॥

वक्ता प्रियंवदः कान्तो धनस्थानगते ध्वजे।
काव्यकृत्‌ पण्डितो मानी विनीतो वाहनान्वितः॥ ५१॥

कदर्यः क्रूरकर्ता च कृशाङ्गो धनवर्जितः।
सहजस्थे तु शिखिनि तीव्ररोगी प्रजायते॥ ५२॥

रूपवान्‌ गुणसम्पन्नः सात्त्विकोऽपि स्रुतिप्रियः।
सुखसंस्थे तु शिखिनि सदा भवति सौख्यभाक्‌॥ ५३॥

सुखी भोगी कलाविच्च पञ्चमस्थानगे ध्वजे।
युक्तिज्ञो मतिमान्‌ वाग्मी गुरुभक्तिसमन्वितः॥ ५४॥

मातृपक्षक्षयकरः शत्रुहा बहुवान्धवः।
रिपुस्थाने ध्वजे प्राप्ते शूरः कान्तो विचक्षणः॥ ५५॥

द्यूतक्रीडाष्वभिरतः कामी भोगसमन्वितः।
ध्वजे तु सप्तमस्थागे वेश्यासु कृतसौहृदः॥ ५६॥

नीचकर्मरतः पापो निर्लज्जो निन्दकः सदा।
मृत्युस्थाने ध्वजे प्राप्ते गतस्त्र्यपरपक्षकः॥ ५७॥

लिङ्गधारी प्रसन्नात्मा सर्वभूतहिते रतः।
धर्मभे शिखिनि प्राप्ते धर्मकार्येषु कोविदः॥ ५८॥

सुखसौभाग्यसम्पन्नः कामिनीनां च वल्लभः।
दाता द्विजैः समायुक्तः कर्मस्थे शिखिनि द्विज॥ ५९॥

नित्यलाभः सुधर्मी च लाभे शिखिनि पूजितः।
धनाढ्यः सुभगः शूरः सुयज्ञश्चाति कोविदः॥ ६०॥

पापकर्मरतः शूरः श्रद्धाहीनोऽघृणो नरः।
परदाररतो रौद्रः शिखिनि व्ययगे सति॥ ६१॥

रोगार्त्तः सततं कामी पापात्माधिगतः शठः।
तनुस्थे गुलिके जातः खलभावोऽतिदुःखितः॥ ६२॥

विकृतो दुःखितः क्षुद्रो व्यसनी च गतत्रपः।
धनस्थे गुलिके जातो निःस्वो भवति मानवः॥ ६३॥

चार्वङ्गो ग्रामपः पुण्यसंयुक्तः सज्जनप्रियः।
सहजे गुलिके जातो मानवो राजपूजितः॥ ६४॥

रोगी सुखपरित्यक्तः सदा भवति पापकृत्‌।
गुलिके सुखभावस्थे वातपित्ताधिको भवेत्‌॥ ६५॥

विस्तुतिर्विधनोऽल्पायुर्द्वेषी क्षुद्रो नपुंसकः।
गुलिके सुतभावस्थे स्त्रीजितो नास्तिको भवेत्‌॥ ६६॥

वीतशत्रुः सुपुष्टाङ्गो रिपुस्थाने यमात्मजे।
सुदीप्तः सम्मतः स्त्रीणां सोत्साहः सुदृढो हितः॥ ६७॥

स्त्रीजितः पापकृज्जारः कृशाङ्गो गतसौहृदः।
जीवितः स्त्रीधनेनैव गुलिके सप्तमस्थिते॥ ६८॥

क्षुधालुर्दुःखित क्रूरस्तीक्ष्णरोषोऽतिनिर्घृणः।
रन्ध्रगे गुलिके निःस्वो जायते गुणवर्जितः॥ ६९॥

बहुक्लेशः कृशतनुर्दुष्टकर्मातिनिर्घृणः।
गुलिके धर्मगे मन्दः पिशुनो बहिराकृतिः॥ ७०॥

पुत्रान्वितः सुखी भोक्ता देवाग्न्यर्चनवत्सलः।
दशमे गुलिके जातो योगधर्माश्रितः सुखी॥ ७१॥

सुस्त्रीभोगी प्रजाध्यक्षो बन्धूनां च हिते रतः।
लाभस्थे गुलिके जातो नीचाङ्ग सार्वभौमकः॥ ७२॥

नीचकर्माश्तितः पापो हीनाङ्गो दुर्भगोऽलसः।
व्ययगे गुलिके जातो नीचेषु कुरुते रतिम्‌॥ ७३॥

लग्ने प्राणपदे क्षणो रोगि भवति मानवः।
मूकोन्मत्तो जडाङ्गस्तु हीनाङ्गो दुःखित कृशः॥ ७४॥

बहुधान्यो बहुधनो बहुभृत्यो बहुप्रजः।
धनस्थानस्थिते प्राणे सुभगो जयते नरः॥ ७५॥

हिंस्रो गर्वसमायुक्तो निष्ठुरोऽतिमलिम्लुचः।
तृतीयगे प्राणपदे गुरुभक्तिविवर्जितः॥ ७६॥

सुखस्थे तु सुखी कान्तः सुहृद्रमासु वल्लभः।
गुरौ परायणः शीतः प्राणे वै सत्यतत्परः॥ ७७॥

सुखिभाक्‌ सुक्रियोपेतस्त्वपचारदयान्वितः।
पञ्चमस्थे प्राणपदे सर्वकामसमन्वितः॥ ७८॥

बन्धुशत्रुवशस्तीक्ष्णो मन्दाग्निर्निर्दयः खलः।
षष्ठे प्राणपदे रोगी वित्तपोऽल्पायुरेव च॥ ७९॥

ईर्ष्यालु सततं कामी तीव्ररौद्रवपुर्नरः।
सप्तमस्थे प्राणपदे दुराराध्यः कुबुद्धिमान्‌॥ ८०॥

रोगसन्तापिताङ्गश्च प्राणपदेऽष्टमे सति।
पीडितः पार्थिवैर्दुःखैर्मृत्यबन्धुसुतोद्‌भवैः॥ ८१॥

पुत्रवान्‌ धनसम्पन्नः सुभगः प्रियदर्शनः।
प्राणे धर्मस्थिते भृत्यः सदाऽदुष्टो विचक्षणः॥ ८२॥

वीर्यवान्‌ मतिमान्‌ दक्षो नृपकार्येषु कोविदः।
दशमे वै प्राणपदे देवार्चनपरायणः॥ ८३॥

विख्यातो गुणवान्‌ प्राज्ञो भोगीध नसमन्वितः।
लाभस्थानस्थिते प्राणे गौराङ्गो मातृवत्सलः॥ ८४॥

क्षुद्रो दुष्टस्तु हीनाङ्गो विद्वेशी द्विजबन्धुषु।
व्यये प्राणे नेत्ररोगी काणो वा जायते नरः॥ ८५॥

इत्यप्रकाशखेटानां फलान्युक्तानि भूसुर।
तथा यानि प्रकाशानां सूर्यादीनां खचारिणाम्‌॥ ८६॥

तानि स्थितिवशात्तेषां स्फुटदृष्टिवशात्‌ तथा।
बलाऽबलविवेकेन वक्तव्यानि शरीरिणाम्‌॥ ८७॥तः।
मनस्वी गुणवान्‌ वाग्मी सत्यधर्मरतः सदा॥ ११५॥

कर्मेशे रन्ध्रभावस्थे कर्महीनो भवेन्नरः।
दीर्घायुरप्यसौ जातः परनिन्दापरायणः॥ ११६॥

राज्येशे भाग्यभे जातो राजा राजकुलोद्‌भवः।
तत्समोऽन्यकुलोत्पन्नो धनपुत्रादिसंयुतः॥ ११७॥

कर्मेशे राज्यभावस्थे सर्वकर्मपटुः सुखी।
विक्रमी सत्यवक्ता च गुरुभक्तिरतो नरः॥ ११८॥

राज्येशे लाभभावस्थे जातो धनसुतान्वितः।
हर्षवान्‌ गुणवांश्चापि सत्यवक्ता सदा सुखी॥ ११९॥

राज्येशे व्ययभावस्थे तस्य राजगृहे व्ययः।
शत्रुतोऽपि भयं नित्यं चतुरश्चापि चिन्तितः॥ १२०॥

लाभेशे लग्नगे जातः सात्त्विको धनवान्‌ सुखी।
समदृष्टिः कविर्वाग्मी सदा लाभसमन्वितः॥ १२१॥

लाभेशे धनभावस्थे जातः सर्वधनान्वितः।
सर्वसिद्धियुतो दाता धार्मिकश्च सुखी सदा॥ १२२॥

लाभेशे सहजे जातः कुशलः सर्वकर्मसु।
धनी भ्रातृसुखोपेतः शूलरोगभयं क्वचित्‌॥ १२३॥

लाभेशे सुखभावस्थे लाभो मातृकुलाद्‌ भवेत्‌।
तीर्थयात्राकरो जातो गृहभूमिसुखान्वितः॥ १२४॥

लाभेशे सुतभावस्थे भवन्ति सुखिनः सुताः।
विद्यवन्तोऽपि सच्छीलाः स्वयं धर्मरतः सुखी॥ १२५॥

लाभेशे रोगभावस्थे जातो रोगसमन्वितः।
क्रूरबुद्धिः प्रवासी च शत्रुभि परिपीडितः॥ १२६॥

लाभेशे दारभावस्थे लाभो दारकुलात्‌ सदा।
उदारश्च गुणी कामी जनो भार्यावशानुगः॥ १२७॥

लाभेशे रन्ध्रभावस्थे हानिः कार्येषु जायते।
तस्यायुश्च भवेद्‌दीर्घं प्रथमं मरणं स्त्रियः॥ १२८॥

लभेशे भाग्यभावस्थे भाग्यवान्‌ जायते नरः।
चतुरः सत्यवादी च राजपुज्यो धनाधिपः॥ १२९॥

लाभेशे कर्मभावस्थे भूपवन्द्यो गुणान्वितः।
निजधर्मरतो धीमान्‌ सत्यवादी जितेन्द्रियः॥ १३०॥

लाभेशे लाभभावस्थे लाभः सर्वेषु कर्मसु।
पण्डित्यं च सुखं तस्य वर्द्धते च दिने दिने॥ १३१॥

लाभेशे व्ययभावस्थे सत्कार्येषु व्ययः सदा।
कामुको बहुपत्नीको म्लेच्छसंसर्गकारकः॥ १३२॥

व्ययेशे लग्नगे जातो व्ययशीलो जतो भवेत्‌।
दुर्बलः कफरोगी च धनविद्याविवर्जितः॥ १३३॥

व्ययेशे धनभावस्थे शुभकार्ये व्ययः सदा।
धार्मिकः प्रियवादी च गुणसौख्यसमन्वितः॥ १३४॥

व्ययेशे सहजे जातो भ्रातृसौक्यविवर्जितः।
भवेदन्यजनद्वेषी स्वशरीरस्य पोषकः॥ १३५॥

व्ययेशे सुखभावस्थे मातुः सुखविवर्जितः।
भूमियानगृहादीनां हानिस्तस्य दिनेदिने॥ १३६॥

व्ययेशे सुतभावस्थे सुतविद्याविवर्जितः।
पुत्रार्थे च व्ययस्तस्य तीर्थाटनपरो नरः॥ १३७॥

व्ययेशे रिपुभावस्थे जातः स्वजनवैरकृत्‌।
क्रोधी पापी च दुःखी च परजायारतो नरः॥ १३८॥

व्ययेशे दारभावस्थे व्ययो दारकृतः सदा।
तस्य भार्यासुखं नैव बलविद्याविवर्जितः॥ १३९॥

व्ययेशे मृत्युभावस्थे जातो लाभान्वितः सदा।
प्रियवाङ्‌ मध्यमायुश्च सम्पूर्णगुणसंयुतः॥ १४०॥

व्ययेशे भाग्यभावस्थे गुरुद्वेषी भवेन्नरः।
मित्रैरपि भवेद्वैरं स्वार्थसाधनतत्परः॥ १४१॥

व्ययेशे राज्यभावस्थे व्ययो राजकुलाद्‌भवेत्‌।
पितृतोऽपि सुखं तस्य स्वल्पमेव हि जायते॥ १४२॥

व्ययेशे लाभभावस्थे लाभे हानिः प्रजायते।
परेण रक्षितं द्रव्यं कदाचिल्लभते नरः॥ १४३॥

व्ययेशे व्ययभावस्थे व्ययाधिक्यं हि जायते।
न शरीरसुखं तस्य क्रोधी द्वेषपरो नृणाम्‌॥ १४४॥

इति ते कथितं विप्र भावेशानां च यत्‌ फलम्‌।
बलाबलविवेकेन सर्वेषं तत्समादिशेत्‌॥ १४५॥

द्विराशीशस्य खेटस्य विदित्वोभयथा फलम्‌।
विरोधे तुल्यफलयोर्द्वयोर्नाशः प्रजायते॥ १४६॥

विभिन्नयोस्तु फलयोर्द्वयोः प्राप्तिर्भवेद्‌ध्रुवम्‌।
ग्रहे पूर्णबले पुर्णमर्धमर्धबले फलम्‌॥ १४७॥

पादं हीनबले खेटे ज्ञेयमित्थं बुधैरिति।
उक्तं भावस्थितानां ते भावेशानां पलं मया॥ १४८॥

1. Thus I have explained the effects of the seven Planets, viz. Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu. Now I tell you about the effects of non-luminous Planets.

2. If Dhum is in Lagna, the native will be valiant, endowed with beautiful eyes, stupefied in disposition, unkind, wicked and highly short-tempered.

3. If Dhum is in 2nd House, the native will be sickly, wealthy, devoid of a limb, will incur humiliation at royal level, be dull witted and be a eunuch.

4. Dhum is in 3rd House, the native will be intelligent, very bold, delighted, eloquent and be endowed with men and wealth.

5. If Dhum is in 4th House, the native will be grieved on account of being given up by his female, but will be learned in all Shastras.

6. If Dhum is in 5th House, the native will have limited progeny, be devoid of wealth, be great, will eat anything and be bereft of friends and Mantras.

7. If Dhum is in 6th House, the native will be strong, will conquer his enemies, be very brilliant, famous and free from diseases.

8. If Dhum is in 7th House, the native will be penniless, be ever sensuous, skilful in going to others females and be always devoid of brilliance.

9. If Dhum is in 8th House, the native will be bereft of courage, but be enthusiastic, be truthful, disagreeable, hardhearted and selfish.

10. If Dhum is in 9th House, the native will be endowed sons and fortunes, be rich, honourable, kind, religious and well disposed to his relatives.

11. If Dhum is in 10th House, the native will be endowed with sons and fortunes, be delighted, intelligent, happy and truthful.

12. If Dhum is in 11th House, the native will be endowed with wealth, grains and gold, be beautiful, will have knowledge of arts, be modest and be skilful in singing.

13. If Dhum is in 12th House, the native will be morally fallen, will indulge in sinful acts, be interested in others wives, addicted to vices, unkind and crafty.

14. If Vyatipat (also known in short, as Pat) is in 1st House, the native will be troubled by miseries, be cruel, will indulge in destructive acts, be foolish and will be disposed to his relatives.

86-87. O Brahmin, these are the effects for Dhum etc. Before declring these results, the effects of Sun and other Planets should be wisely conceived by their positions, relations and Aspects apart from their strength, or weakness.
